State Level Media Fellowship on climate change reporting 2019-20 

No. 52/1/2014 (CC) / DoE: The Directorate of Environment is launching State Level Media Fellowship programme on Climate Change Reporting for the period of 1 (one) year i.e. February 2019 to February 2020. Applications for the programme are invited from the journalists of Manipur. The interested journalists have to submit their news stories on climate change related issues of the state, published during 24th January 2018 to 25th January 2019 for award of the said State level Media Fellowship on Climate Change Reporting in Manipur. The news stories to be submitted should be duly certified by the Editor of the concerned Newspaper. There will be 4 (four) categories of fellowship i.e. one each for women journalist and hill based journalist, and 2 (two) are open for all.


Eligibility : Not less than 3 (three) years experience in journalism and media reporting.


Fellowship Award : Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty thousand) per fellowship alongwith citation.


How to apply: Application with 5 (five) copies of news stories on Climate Change issues in Manipur which have been published during 24th January, 2018 to 25th January, 2019 alongwith latest Bio Data and two passport size photographs is to be submitted to the Director, Directorate of Environment, Government of Manipur, Porompat, Imphal on or before 28th January 2019. The application should also enclose a letter of support from the Editor mentioning that the output under the fellowship programme will be published in the concerned newspaper.
